Facial Expression
When performing during a concert,
one of the most important techniques is facial expression.
If a choir looks bored, tired or angry,
they will sound bored, tired or angry.
The audience will also be effected in a negative way,
not truly enjoying the performance because of
the emotions portrayed through the choirs faces.
On the contrary, if the choir looks excited, engaged
and emotionally accurate,
the sound they make and the audience reaction
will be positive and much more enjoyable.
Below are three examples of different facial expressions:
poor, good, and over-exaggerated.
